Our ethos

We make letters for those who want a reminder of what makes this country special

Until Next Time is filling a cultural hole: the hunger for something real, tactile, warm, and human in an increasingly digital, numb world. We're a lifestyle - not simply a business

Design process

We have real pride in our small business

Nothing here is slapped together or left to chance. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and the highest quality materials

  1. Ideation

  1. Ideation
A team that takes pride in their hard work

❁ Our team isn't made up of hobbyists. We’re trained, responsible professionals who believe in doing things the right way: with care, skill, and pride

❁ We hold honest, no-nonsense review sessions to keep our work up to the standards we believe in

❁ We subscribe to the very letters we send out; we should never deliver anything we wouldn’t keep in our own homes

Research with respect for the past

❁ We put in the time and do our homework. The era, the story, the tone. We study it thoroughly

❁ We check and double-check our facts and craftsmanship so what lands in your mailbox is accurate, thoughtful, and made with integrity

Envelopes and edge paper

❁ Thick European kraft with visible fiber grain for an authentically vintage look

Handmade, including designs that you can't find anywhere else

❁ Acid-free and lignin-free to prevent yellowing

❁ SMETA audit certified. We choose suppliers who take pride in honest work and treat their people right. No cutting corners

Postcards

❁ We seek out genuine pieces from trusted antique dealers in San Francisco

❁ Everything we include is true to the era - never cheap imitations

Adornments

Silk ribbons are made from pure natural fibers and have a non-abrasive hold, just like the keepsakes families once saved in memory boxes

❁ Wax seals are made of of the highest quality wax and resin; smokeless, odorless, and non-toxic

Printing process

❁ We use only the highest quality paper and design everything in-house

Our products are made in San Francisco with a commercial printer

Finishing touches

The wax seals are handmade and use a botanical stamp that we first wrap an ice bag around before applying it to melted wax

We decorate the envelope and cut thin silk ribbons to elevate the experience

  1. Quality control

  1. Quality control
Getting the small things right

❁ We double check that all letters have the correct ephemera that are accompanied with each story

Our packaging is secure and makes sure that the wax seal doesn't fall off
